How to get promoted:
Promotions past the rank of CR are not automatic. If you think that you have met the requirements of the next rank, please reach out to your next chain of command NCO.
Time Frame:
Enlisted promotions will be presented at each JNCO meeting.
Promotions will be voted on by all NCO members.
Once a promotion is approved or denied, said member will be notified by the NCO who placed them on the board.
These meetings happen on a bi-weekly rotation.
- If a member has not requested a promotion by 12pm EST the Friday before the meeting, then they will be delayed to the next cycle.
Lateral Transfer:
A lateral transfer requires you to meet the rank’s requirements and be of equal level to the rank you are attempting to transfer to.
Promotion Denial:
If you are denied a promotion, then you can be put onto the board again. (assuming your previous issues for the promotion have been resolved).
General:
You are limited to 1 in-game and 1 out-of-game/dept leadership role.
- Ex: Infantry team lead and Training Qualification Lead.
If someone has 2 DA's within a year's time, they are ineligible for a NCO/Leadership position or rank. - Said person can not be given the role or rank until only 1 or no DA's are active.
Acting Timeframe:
When you get a billetted in an acting position, you are required to get 6 acting notes within 3 months and be put up to the NCO Board.
If denied, then you have another 3 months to be put back up.
If denied a second time, then you will be asked to step out of the position.
You will be informed of any relevant reasons for your denial and areas to improve.
You may try out for another leadership position if one is open and you feel you are ready / made improvements.
If placed into another acting position, then the acting timeframe starts from the beginning.
Acting Notes:
Acting notes can only be filled out by a person holding the rank required for the position above you. - EX: Team lead Acting notes can be only filled out by a billet SNCO Squad lead.
Acting notes can be acquired from both Main Ops and Skirmishes.
As stated above, you are required to have 6 acting notes, but the more the better.
